This was a continuation of the remix instagram project by creating a lyric video for The Hamilton Mixtape’s “My Shot (Rise Up Remix)” by The Roots featuring Busta Rhymes, Joell Ortiz and Nate Ruess, still following Rev’s branding guidelines. Each segment of lyrics was designed by a different designer, below is my section.
This project was a challenge for me as I rarely work with video software and have never created a lyric video before. It was a fun challenge and I learned more about After Effects. I chose to use the same typeface as my instagram posts and a black and white image to connect the style of them together.
